Never Seen a Dog Work So Hard

Have you ever felt guilty about wasting the remnants stuck to the sides of a peanut butter jar? Probably enough for a sandwich but not worth the effort. Well...give it to Luke.

Hmmmm...

In it to win it!!

Attack of the Mini Invaders

Our friends came to visit and brought their dogs with them - they are rat terrier mixes. This little guy is August, also nicknamed "The Fuzz". He loves to be around Luke and considers himself Luke's sidekick.

This cutie is Bailey. She's the shy one of the two.

We had just adopted Guinness and was told that she did not like other female dogs. Guinness was not properly socialized with other dogs as a puppy. We had them meet side by side on a walk. Outside of typical curiosity, the introduction was uneventful. To ensure the visit stayed that way, we kept them separate except for a few sniffs here and there.

"No mini invaders were harmed during the taking of this picture."

Most Favoritest Bed in the Whole World

Luke absolutely loves this nesting bed. If he can have it his way, he would be carried on this bed from one place to another. As you can see, the bed is a hair small, but that doesn't stop him. He will make it work!!

And when he feels the threat of having to leave it... he turns on the charm.

That is, until Guinness came along.

She loves the bed just as much, so...

...they compromised.

What Do You Mean I'm Getting a Sister?!! YUCK!

Oh no. I can feel it...the calm before the storm.

HEY! How's it going? I'm Guinness!

After a couple of years of pure Luke loving, we decided he needed a buddy (or a kid sister). And even though Luke would like you to believe otherwise, he was excited about the idea. Months of searching on petfinder.com landed us with this mug. She was also an owner surrender. WELCOME GUINNESS!!

I'm outta here!!

WANTED: Blanket Thief

We noticed something peculiar about Luke's behavior. Everytime we laid a blanket on the floor, Luke would take it over. Each...

...and...

...every time.

Luke's Adoption

This was Luke when he was a puppy - CUTE AS A BUTTON!! We didn't know him back then...

He was THIS BIG by the time we met him. His owners decided to give him up, and he was welcomed into our home with open arms. To say we were uber excited would be an understatement. YEAH!!!!
